Refund Policy
Last updated:
Linguin is operated by SupafastTech LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming. Who refunds a purchase depends on where you paid for it.
1. Card payments through our own checkout (processed by Stripe)
This covers Linguin Premium bought by bank card on linguin.app or with the "Buy with bank card" option in the mobile app. Stripe processes these payments for us, and we handle their refunds ourselves.
If you paid in the App Store or on Google Play instead, this section does not apply to you. See section 2.
Monthly subscription
- The subscription starts with a 3-day free trial. You get one free trial per person, counted together across the App Store, Google Play and card payments.
- Cancel any time. In the app, open Profile, then Manage card subscription. On the website, use the Stripe billing page linked from your account. Premium stays on until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Cancelling during the free trial means you are not charged at all.
- If Linguin did not work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that charge.
Lifetime purchase
- Lifetime is a single payment. There is no subscription to cancel.
- If Linguin did not work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it. A refunded Lifetime purchase removes Premium from the account.
How to ask for a refund
Email contact@linguin.app from any address. Include the email you used at checkout and a short note about what went wrong. The money returns to the same card, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
2. App Store and Google Play purchases
Apple and Google take these payments and handle their refunds. The money never reaches our account, so we cannot refund it ourselves.
- App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: open Google Play subscriptions, or follow Google's refund instructions in the Play Store help.
