Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Linguin, operated by SupafastTech LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using Linguin on any platform — macOS, iOS, or Chrome — you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Linguin is an AI-powered translation application that allows users to translate text across 100+ languages in real time. The App is available on macOS, iPhone, iPad, and as a Chrome browser extension.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Linguin. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Free Tier and Premium Subscription

Linguin is free to download and offers a free tier with core translation features. An optional Linguin Premium subscription is available as an in-app purchase for users who want unlimited translations, advanced styles, and additional features.

Linguin Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly) and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscription pricing is shown at the time of purchase in your local currency, as set by Apple App Store.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

The lifetime purchase is a one-time non-recurring payment that grants permanent access to Premium features for the app as it exists at the time of purchase, subject to continued availability of the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Linguin to:

  • Translate or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service in a way that exceeds normal usage
  • Resell or sublicense access to the App or its API
  • Circumvent or disable any security or rate-limiting features
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these restrictions.

6. Accuracy of Translations

Linguin uses AI and third-party translation engines to provide results. While we strive for accuracy, translations may not always be perfect, and the App should not be relied upon for professional, medical, legal, or safety-critical translation needs.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any translation result.

7. Intellectual Property

The Linguin App, including its design, logo, code, and content, is owned by SupafastTech LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of the text you submit for translation. By submitting text, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the translation service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SupafastTech LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Linguin at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) will do so.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
